Alan: Nockamixon demands a well-rounded bag. A lot of the holes have distance but several demand accuracy. I would bring a rough pair of sneakers as the course is usually muddy and wet a majority of the year. It's 14 holes as of today, but the course is tough as nails. You should probably think about a practice round with someone who knows the course before a tournament like the AMMO. I made the mistake of not knowing a course before a tournament and paid a steep price for it. Just a few tips from a has-never-been, Andrew L.

Andrew have we met before? Thanks for the advice. I carry a pretty well rounded bag, as i do tend to play new courses. I normally wear gortex salomons and seal skin socks, so i should be covered there. Yeah if I could make it down for a practice round there i surely will, i am sure i can find some time in my tight schedule *cough cough* lol. I heard from other people that the course is a monster as well, but it seems that the best i ever play a course is the first time i play LOL.

Brian has been trying to contact the parks about getting the 4 heron holes reopened. It would really be nice to have them back for the AMMO.

Alan: Maybe we have. I don't recognize your name, but I played at the AMMO at Tinicum in March. Won't get down there for Nocky this month, have to work, but I will try for another month. I'm short, stocky, and I carried a red bag that looked more like a lunch box than a disc golf bag. I'm going to be at doubles at Walter Thursday. -Andrew L.
